A stairlift grant can be obtained from Fingal through the Mobility Aid Housing Grant Scheme. To avail of this grant the first step is to fill out the proper application form. You can download the form here. The Mobility Aid Housing Grant Scheme is Means tested and is determined by the combined income of the household.

The most that is available for a stairlift grant is €6,000. In most cases this will cover the stair chair lift cost. If the stair lift does not cost the full €6,000 then the grant will cover the complete cost of the stairlift (supplying and installation)

An itemised quote form a Tax Certified Stairlift Company (of which we can provide)
Details of your Tax location or district
Proof of income for the household
PPS Number
Details that your tax is compliant
A report for your Occupational Therapist/Doctor
Evidence of Local Property Tax payment
